| About Mall Furniture Mall Furniture has been a family owned and operated business serving central Wisconsin for over 32 years. We are proud to offer a wide selection of quality furniture at reasonable prices with service after the sale. In 1974 Tom Werthman took a gamble and moved to Marshfield Wisconsin to start a furniture store in the upstairs of Modern of Marshfield Furniture's manufacturing plant. Eventually Tom purchased the existing location of the Marshfield store and decided that it was time to expand to have a second store to service his expanding business. Stevens Point was chosen as a second location which ultimately moved to Wausau after the neighboring grocery store in Stevens Point started on fire, leaving the building that Mall Furniture was in uninhabitable. After being in a couple of different locations throughout the Wausau area land was purchased in Rothschild and a brand new building was erected. Mall Furniture of Wausau opened its doors to its new building in 1994 at its current location at 1575 CTH XX in Rothschild. |
